Banana Jam VII, February 24, 2007
7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Location . . . . . . . .
at "A Learning Place" Complex Convention Center - Piqua

2006 Banana Jam VI
was held February 4, 2006 at “A Learning Place” complex on R. M. Davis Parkway in Piqua off St. Rt. 36 West.  This location has the advantages of more space and better acoustics having sound absorbing panels on the walls.

Consider that in February about the time you will be experiencing cabin fever, the Banana Jam offers an excellent alternative evening of music and dancing.  February of this year more than 200 people took a break from all the snow and ice and experienced a tropical fantasy evening by attending Clear Creek Farm’s fundraiser.  The ambiance was teeming with tropical flavor including palm trees, Hawaiian leis, pineapples and bananas.

If you haven’t attended one of our past Banana Jams, you should know that many event participants come prepared dressed in Hawaiian shirts, Bermuda shorts, sandals, Panama hats or even a few grass skirts.  However, you can come just casually dressed and still have a great time.

Whether you want to dance or to just watch the action, the outstanding Kerry Smith Band will again be providing the musical entertainment.  The Kerry Smith Band is well known in the Dayton area having performed at Sharkey's and in the Oregon District.  They have also performed at the Flats in Cleveland and at the Varsity Club in Columbus after Ohio State University football games.  Kerry will perform Caribbean style acoustic rock music with a twist of lime and is backed by Dayton's most notable rhythm section.

Tickets for this fundraiser are $25.00 person, which includes everything—live music, food and a beverages.  We will also be having door prizes and raffle for $500 in air travel.  Air travel raffle tickets can be purchased at the event for $5.00 a ticket or $25.00 for an arm's length of tickets.   Call the Clear Creek Farm office to order reserved tickets at 937-498-9445 and bring your friends!  You can reserve a table for seating of eight your friends.  Must be age 21 or over to attend.  Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and band will play starting at 7:30 p.m.
